72 - par, a solid round of golf at the last day.
It was a solid round of golf with 3 birdies and 3 bogeys at the last day. Nora played quite well and as on the other days she had a nice ball-striking "I hit the ball very solidly", Nora said right after round two and now the score proves her right. Nora is looking forward to the upcoming tournaments because of this good start in to the 2006 Season. Well done Nora!
75 - 3 over par and the best score for Nora this week
It was quite a good round of golf. Nora did hit the ball as well as she did during the last two rounds but the score is not low enough yet. 5 bogeys and 2 birdies for a good 75 in round 3. As we mentioned yesterday the key is to avoid high numbers on your scorecard and for tomorrow Nora has to be patient again and the low score will come.
A disappointing 78 but Nora made the cut
Only 4 pars today and now you may be able to imagine what a day this was for Nora and Michael. In comparison to yesterday Nora had two bad holes with a triple and a double bogey. The good thing today was that Nora made the birdie putts on the difficult greens. With a total of 4 birdies on the second round she ranks within the top players and for the two rounds to come the main thing is to avoid doubles and triples. Anyway - first tournament and first cut, well done TEAM!
It was very difficult to putt on these undulated greens - but I played solidly
This is good news from Nora Angehrn after her first 18 holes in the LET 2006 Season in Tenerife, Spain. At the end of her round, Nora missed a 1 meter birdie putt on the 17th hole and took 3 putts on the 18th for a total of 76, 4 over par. It was quite a solid round of golf with 5 bogeys and 1 birdie as the greens are tough to putt. It was also her first round with her new caddy Michael Canmore and they did very well together. So let's say - go for it TEAM!br> |
