Chart Hills Golf Club is offering you the chance to take on two oft he greatest golfers at their own game by playing on the courses they designed. Chart Hills and Dale Hill Golf Clubs have united under the Leaderboard Group and are now able to offer golfers a unique opportunity to play two championship courses. One was designed at Chart Hills by the legendary six times Major winner Nick Faldo MBE, hailed as the Best New Golf Course in England and the other, Dale Hill, was designed by the former US Masters Champion, Ian Woosnam MBE.

Nora missed the Cut by 1 shot after a sad finish - 76 - +4
They were tough conditions again and Nora started with 4 over on her front nine holes knowing that the cut would be +6 or plus 7, so she had to fight on the back nine to make it. After the 16th hole Nora was -2 on the back nine with 5 pars and 2 birdies and the short par 3 17th hole was to come. "We made a wrong club decision", Nora said after the round, the ball flew the green right into the water hazard and Nora ended up with a double bogey on that hole. On the 18th she had another chance to go on +7 on the tournament but the putt just didn't find the hole for birdie.
A tough day for all Players - Nora started with a 76, 4 over Par
Difficult conditions made it hard to place the ball close to the pin-position today. Nora started in the morning on the back nine holes for her round. With two bogies on the par fives and a double on the par four 13th hole she was 4 over after nine. Then followed another bogey at the 3rd hole. Nora had to wait 16 holes today for her very first birdie. She was very close to finish with no birdie for a single round which has never happend before in the 2006 Season!
The 2nd last tournament on the tour calendar comes up
It's just a small tournament - money wise - but it's a good tournament for the players. Just to play at Chart Hills is reason enough to travel to Great Britain. Nora is well prepared for that event and her target for the last two events is on: Top 40 on the New Star Money List. |
