Too many bogies for a 74, but another solid Result
Nora tried to go low and started with a double on the Par 4 3rd (so far the most difficult hole in this tournament!). With two other bogies and two birdies, Nora was 2 over after 9. On the back nine she started with two solid birdies on holes 11 and 12 and only two pars on nine holes! Everything was in from an eagle to a double bogey. Unfortunately, the important putts did not sink today so Nora finished with a 74 and a total of +3.
Nora's first round under Par this week 71 (-1)
Thta's the right direction for Nora. A solid 71 - 1 under Par - today. With 3 bogies and 4 birdies she made some more putts today but it's still more in the game of her. "I feel good and I know a I can go low" Nora analysed her game after the third round.
Another 73 (+1) and Nora is ready for the weekend
"It was very good golf compared to yesterday, but I didn't sink the putts", Nora said after her round. With 4 bogies and 3 birdies Nora had some ups and downs on the course today. At the end she fought for her 3rd consecutive cut. Nora made it and is now ready for the weekend.
One over Par - 73 for a solid start into the tournament
Nora Angehrn started with 7 Pars in a row before she bogied the Par
4 8th hole to be finally 1 over on her front nine holes. With two birdies and two bogies on the back nine Nora finished with a good opening round 73 /+1 and a 31st place on the very demanding course. |
