Even a triumph was on striking distance...
Nora had to fight today and she was plus 3 after 9 holes and far away from a victory. With a very good fight Nora came back to levelpar on the round, but a bad bogie on the 18th for a 73 (+1) came up. Nora had an aggressive strategy for today because she was 4 strokes away from the lead after two rounds and it was definitely not about defending the 3rd place - she always aims for the victory.
After 4 tournaments Nora feels pretty good and she is looking forward to coming back to Switzerland next week. Welcome back Nora!
A 66 in round two making a Total of 8 under par and the 3rd place
It was the first low round of Nora in 2007 and with that she did climb the Leaderboard at the Telekom Women's Classic, which is the biggest tournament for Ladies Golf in South Africa. Today Nora is in the final group together with her room mate of the Ladies European Tour, Tanja Elosegui, who leads with a total of -12. They will have a great round together for sure - go for it Nora. |
