Unfortunately it was the same story as yesterday - too many misses off the Tee
Nora started with a Birdie on her 3rd hole but this was not enough to get her the confidence she needs. "I'm not consistent at all", she says after her round and on that level you need consistency. Nora has to work with her coach now to get this confidence back into the game, and maybe she just needs some little changes for her mind. With a 76 (+4) on the 2nd round, Nora missed the Cut in Rome. We believe in you Nora, keep going!
Nora's Drives off the tee are not solid enough at the moment
Too many times Nora struggled off the tee in the first round in
Rome and then she was fighting for pars and bogies. The 77 (+5)
includes 2 water balls and a couple of three-putts, so Nora is not
happy at all the way it works right now. Keep going Nora, you can do
it.
Good memories on that tournament for Nora
Nora Angehrn finished the final day with a 67 (-5) on the same
course and she likes the Parco de Medici close to Rome. Nora
travelled well to Rome and she will have a practice day on Tuesday.
