Better golf - a good finish and a Champion with style, well done Nora
Nora did hit the ball much better than the day before and this was the main target for todays final round. Not all shots were the way she wanted them to be, but the confidence is coming back. With a great Birdie, Eagle finish, Nora played again 72 (-1) and this puts her on the 24th place.
What a day - 78 (+5) and a tough fight out there
IIt was a tough day out there. Nora was well prepared but maybe she did want to defend the title too much. It's not some sort of weakness, not at all, its more to do with patience. She did have huge drives and could get into every Par 5 with an Iron shot but she missed some good opportunities for Eagle and Birdie. But she made also some great saves for Par and even for Bogie. "I like this course so much and right now I don't know what happened out there", Nora said. Just play in style of a Champion tomorrow.
A 72 (1 under Par) and Nora is in contention
At the beautiful Dainfern Country Club, Nora plays as the defending Champion. Our recommendation: if you should ever be close to Dainfern CC near Johannesburg, take your time to play there or even just have a drink at the lovely Clubhouse - it's tremendous. Back to work now. Nora had a solid round of Golf. Nora was not happy with her performance on the Par 5 holes. All over she was -1 at all the Par 5 but only with one Eagle on the 17th. Nora is 6 strokes behind the Leader but she feels great and will do everything to defend her title. |
