Not the expected move for Nora Angehrn - 78/+6
Of course it's a good result after all that missed Cuts, but Nora is ready for more. Finally she played a disappointing 78 on Sunday for the 32nd place in this tournament. That will give Nora some self confidence for the next tournaments. "I take that first round out of this - I can do it" Nora said after the Sunday round.
Not as expected, but still in contention - 75/+3
Nora Angehrn had a bad start into her round with 2 unlucky bogies and just one birdie making the difference today. Anyway, it was a solid round and Nora is only 3 shots away from the lead for tomorrows final round.
What a day - 69 /-3 and the lead after round 1 by 2 strokes
Nora Angehrn had a very good day out there My putter was really hot today from the start and I was playing really nicely she summarized her 1st round. I had one bad drive and one bad hole in total. I had a double on the par-five third. I pushed my tee shot right behind a tree and I could only chip it out with a sand wedge. From there I hit it right again so I had to take a double. But Im really happy to finally shoot under par, she added. Stay cool now and enjoy Golf in Ireland for the next two days - we believe in you!
Well prepared for Wind and Rain
Last Tuesday Nora Angehrn had, albeit being in Switzerland, perfect conditions to prepare herself for Ireland. "It's perfect today - like most of the time in Ireland", Nora joked while she did hit some balls. Everything looks great and she is travelling to Ireland with a positive mindset and a good swing in the bag.
