Another solid round of Golf 73 - +1
An unnecessary bogie on the last hole - where Nora all week long made birdie - is the only bad flavour after the Dubai Ladies Masters. Nora played solid golf after a long season - 15 greens in regulation today - and she confirms the place she takes in the Order of Merit on the Ladies European Tour.
Not the expected move but solid Golf 72 - Par
With three birdies and three bogies Nora Angehrn played solid golf again. It is a repeating story every day which could have a good ending with some luck on the greens. Nora missed some birdie opportunities but her putting was not bad at all yet again, the luck was not with her. Nora had a tough day with her flight partner Nathalie David-Mila, she played 83 (+11) which makes it all the more difficult to concentrate on your game - well done Nora!

Another 73 - 1 over Par and Nora Angehrn is in the weekend at Dubai Ladies Masters. Nora started bad into her second round with a bogie on hole nr. 1 and after 4 holes she found herself on +3 after a double on the 5th (push into the water hazard). After that Nora did find her tournament rhythm and finished this round with two birdies and the remaining holes playing par. "I played really well", Nora said after the round, 14 Greens in Regulation and 33 Putts verify this statement. "It was a bit like yesterday, a bit more luck on the greens and there would be red figures on the scorecard."
It was a solid start in round one for Nora Angehrn - 73 / +1
Three bogies and two birdies for a solid 73 - 1 over Par in Dubai. It was a good golf day for Nora Angehrn and with some luck she could have been easily 2 under. Nora is on her game and she feels comfortable in Dubai. "It's great to play here", she said. If some putts will fall tomorrow, there is a chance for another good result.
The last Event in 2006 season under the hot sun of Dubai
It's hot, dry and windy in Dubai but to play on the marvellous Emirates Golf Club (Majlis course) is just great. What lovely end of Season for the girls and a good tournament for Nora Angehrn to finish a very solid year. Dubai is one of the top ranked tournaments (money wise) on the Ladies Tour and it's definitely worth playing well, but Nora is heading a strong field. Nora starts at 12:30 local time for her first round, which is 10:30 our time. |
