Again - What a day - Nora is fighting and everything went the wrong way
It is seriously tough if you look at this, Nora tries everything to come back out of that vale of emotions and bad Tee-Shots but every time when she clutched at straws, the "bang" comes again. So it happened again today when Nora started with Par and Birdie to be -1 after two holes. Right after that a bad Tee-Shot ended up in a double. From there on Nora did hardly find a fairway and she had to play many layups. So she was always fighting for her Par.
Just one of these days to forget
Nora started with a very good save for Par on her very first hole and after a bogey and a fantastic birdie she was still levelpar after 4 holes. She had to fight even the first holes and there was no easy shot at all. A ball in the hazard on number 6 and a very good up and down showed that Nora is ready to fight. But then it just did not come together. A few silly bogies came up and Nora was 5 over for the day. With a bad tee shot on number 13 Nora had to take her second ball off the Tee and she finished with a triple, after that Nora had not enough power to come back and with some unlucky shots she ended up with +13.
It was a long and important break for Nora
Nora took a week off and then she started again with her training routine to prepare for EVIAN, the biggest event in her career so far. "To start there with the top shots of the world means all to me right now", Nora said before she left to wonderful Evian. Nora has great support at her bag for this week it is Swiss PGA Professional Pablo della Santa from Geneva Golf Club, a very good friend of hers and an experienced person. He knows the course very well and they had already had a practice round together. |
