75 at the end for Nora but a struggling finish
Nora had struggled all week with the front-nine holes and she had to fight back every round but not today. After 4 holes Nora was 3 under Par and the setup for a final round was done. After 9 holes it was the first time during the week that Nora was level par and with the back nine in her mind a big move up the leader board was within reach. But Nora did not have the patience to let the birdies come and she forced the game too much at some stages. At the end, it was a 75 but still a good tournament at the end of the season.
Disappointing 76 with a very bad start off her first 9 holes
Playing that early in the morning is definitely not Noras time to show perfect golf, because she had to get off a good start early in the morning and so she needed 9 holes to be ready. 3 Double Bogies, 3 Bogies and 3 Pars on her first nine holes were simply too much and even the perfect back nine with 2 under Par couldn't help make up the early morning mistakes. Tomorrow, Nora will be first off and on her own for a good last round of competitive Golf this year.
WOW - Nora fired the back nine in 32 which is -5 for a great 69!
This is a great comeback for Nora. What a day for her. Nora played Golf as she hadnt done in a long time. As she said after her practice round: "I feel very good and I can go low on this course". After the 78 of yesterdays first round Nora just wanted to go out and go low - and she did. After a 2 over Par on the front nine holes she fired 5 Birdies and 4 Pars on the back nine. Well done Girl!
What a day one with 3 silly bogies on the Par fives
Nora got off to a very bad start very early in the morning at 7am which is 3am our time, with 4 Bogies within her first 5 holes. After that, Nora played solid golf with her first Birdie on the 18th hole which was her 9th today. Then, unfortunately, Nora started again with 3 Bogies in a row to finish up with +6 for the round. That was rather unexpected because Nora had felt pretty good and she intends to show this during the days to come. |
