This Championship course with a classic parkland layout offer the golfer enough challenges with the Hennops River coming into play on almost every hole. Hosted many professional events over the years and the club is closely link with the Hayes family since the 1940. A cluster-housing complex is being developed alongside the 1st and 18th fairways. The club is conveniently situated for golfers travelling from the Sandton, Johannesburg, Midrand and Pretoria areas.

A level par round on the first day
Nora was 2 under after 16 holes when suddenly she was dogged by bad luck. With a ball upon a tree she had to take a drop and left that green with a double bogey- very unusual! Her summary after round 1 is nevertheless very positive. "I played solidly today", she said and is therefore quite happy with her game. Nora is in 9th position and only 4 shots away from the lead.
A very good round of golf for Frederique Seeholzer today. After 9 holes, 4 under par, she finished with a 71, 1 under par. Unfortunately, Florence Lüscher has had a bad day on her back nine today but with a 77, 5 over par everything is still possible for tomorrow.
Not a good day for Nora Angehrn - 79, 7 over par on the round
You have to feel confident on this very narrow but short golf course. Nora had a bad day out there but still saved a 79 to make her 3rd cut in the 3rd tournament. After the solid first round, Nora was confident enough to have a look on the leaderboard, but the day was difficult. For today, Nora wants to perform a good round 3.
A very good tournament for Frederique Seeholzer. With a total of +3 she holds the 25th position. This would be her best finish this year. With a good 74 Florence Lüscher also made the cut with +7.
Not a good tournament for Nora Angehrn - 78, 6 over par at day 3
With another round in the high 70s Nora finished the 3rd tournament in South Africa. Not a good week for her. With a total of 229 (+13) Nora couldnt live up to her own expectations for this tournament. Now it's all about looking forward to next weeks Nedbank Women's Masters.
A good tournament for Frederique Seeholzer. With a total of 221 (+5) she finished in 31st place and this is her best finish this year. With a final 74 Florence Lüscher finished in 51st place with a total of 225 (+9). |
