A disappointing 80 (8 over par) and Nora missed her first cut this year
Well, they had bad conditions and if you do not score well the conditions seem even worse. It was a round of golf with some bad shots and then Nora was really dogged by bad luck. At the end Nora new that she would need birdies and eagles to make the cut and what last week worked out this week didnt. Not a problem at all, as it means that Nora has got two more days to prepare for the next tournament and may even be able to pay a short visit to Amsterdam.
A 75, 3 over par on day one
It is wet and cold in France and there is really no chance whatsoever for a wonderful round of golf, but it's a job and it's for everyone the same. Nora started quite well into her afternoon round with one birdie, one bogey and 7 pars on her first nine holes. It was even better after 13 holes, Nora was -1 under on her round but the double bogey on the next par-5 - the only bad drive she had today (OB) - did break the good rhythm she had and with two more bogeys Nora finished with a 75, 3 over par on day one. I'm hitting the Ball solidly and Im feeling confident, Nora said after her round, so we may expect another solid round tomorrow. |
