Bad luck on the greens and double bogey on the last hole for a 75, 3 over par
Nora Angehrn started well into her last round with two good birdie opportunities. After 8 holes she was +1 with one birdie and 2 bogeys. After a fantastic tee shot on number 9, she did hit a spectacular 3-wood on the green and made a great eagle. On her back nine Nora had again several birdie chances but the greens where very hard to read and to putt. A bad tee shot on the 18th ended up in a double bogey. Again, a good tournament for Nora.
A very solid par (72) round of golf and Nora plays par on the tournament
It has been a solid round of golf today and could easily have been 2 or 3 under par. Nora was very often too far away from the pin and on these undulated greens it's difficult to sink the putts. Again, Nora drove very well off the tee and the whole game was saved. With a score in the red figures, tomorrow, Nora will be able to reach another very good result on the LET.
A 72 (par) on the first round - Nora with nice ups and some downs
It's a demanding, old fashioned golf course with narrow fairways. Nora managed very well to save good pars at the beginning of her round. After a few holes she did find a better rhythm but still missed some birdie opportunities. With a bad second shot at her last hole (nr. 9 par-5) - Nora had to write a 6 instead of a 4 on her scorecard summing up to a total of 72 for the day. |
