Nora can do it and she knows that she is there
After a horrible start (1 ball already OB) Nora was 5 over par after 5 holes! From then on she played solid golf and managed to finish 75 (-2 for the last 13 holes). In total Nora had 6 birdies today. Without the 2 triple bogeys on hole 4 Nora would have made the cut. It shows her that She am good enough to make birdies, now she has to avoid the triples and doubles!
After a long wait in the clubhouse this morning finally they played with a 3 hours delay.
Nora played solid for 8 holes and was 1 under. On her 9th hole she pushed the teeshot into the water. With an impossible drop it resulted in a triple bogey. On her 11th hole Nora struggled to get out of the bunker and took a double and finally on her 13th hole she pushed her driver into deep bushes and lost the ball. Nora finished with a birdie for a 79 and was happy to be back in teh hotel after a very long day.
Even this week in Norway the Girls will get wet - if they can play
The rain is following wherever the LET goes. Course is under water and was closed yesterday and the rain holds on. The officials a not quite sure if there will be a play this week, so it's tough for Nora and the other Girls on Tour just to wait for decisions. |
