Das Gelände des Golfplatzes Wylihof erstreckt sich entlang des südlichen Aareufers am Fusse der Jurakette. Solothurn, die nächstgelegene Stadt, erreicht man in fünf Autominuten. Das Gelände ist gekennzeichnet durch seine offenen und grosszügigen Felder, welche an zwei grössere Waldabschnitte grenzen. Die unmittelbar nördlich gelegene Jurakette sowie die bei klarem Wetter südlich ersichtlichen schneebedeckten Gipfel der Berner Alpen bieten eine bezaubernde Kulisse.

Round 3 and 4 not as good as expected - 73 / 74
It was not the day for fairways. Nora Anghern missed a lot of fairways and for both her scores she really had to fight for each par. A short putt on the 17th hole gave her a tied lead with Florence Lüscher for the last hole which both finished in par. At the first playoff hole, Florence had a good putt for par and Nora missed it. But despite this second place it was a great preparation for next week in Sweden.
Round 2 - 69 (-4)
An excellent 69 followed yesterdays course record. Nora Angehrn played a very solid, bogey-free round of golf and still leads with two shots ahead of Florence Lüscher. Nora is looking forward to the final two rounds of tomorrow and to having a face to face competition for the victory.
Round 1 - 67 (-6)
An excellent 67 and a new course record!
Nora started very slowly with two bogeys on holes 1 and 2, but after that she fired birdie after birdie and even an eagle. With this great score she is leading the womens competition. Even in the overall scoreboard, Nora is in second position, ahead of the "crème de la crème" of Swiss Professional and Amateur Golf. |
