A 75 (+3) but Nora played Golf.
Well prepared, Nora started from the 10th Tee with a straight birdie 2 after a good putt and this was exactly the start she had been looking for. Right after that she managed to safe a Par after having touched a leaf at the small second hole. The short missed put on nr. 12 was ok but then after a good birdie chance on hole 13 her bogie series started again on the 14th. Too much spin again off the tee and a good teeshot on 14 ended upright behind a tree. 4 bogies in a row were way too much but a solid finish clearly showed what Nora is able to play.
A round of 76 / +4 but there is more...
Nora opened with a 76 / +4 her first round in Arras. It was a tough start with 2 bogies in a row and her 3-wood worked not well of tee Tee the first holes. A great birdie on nb. 5 with a put from 14 meters opend her mind to fight back. Just right after that another huge putt for birde. Nora ended up with +2 after two good bogies after nine. Then Nora played really good golf but just get no score out of it. With a Ball with too much backspin on the short 14th hole she was in trouble and ended up with a bogie. A good finishing par at the 18th will keep the chnces up for second round. |
