It all started when I was born on March 17th 1980, in Zurich, Switzerland. Encouraged by my family, I took an interest in sports at an early age. I played many different sports and competed in my first golf tournament at the age of 10. I quickly found out that golf was “my thing” and have stuck to the sport ever since.

During my amateur golf career, I won the Swiss Championship six times. I represented Switzerland in the World Amateur Team Championship (Espirito Santo Trophy) in 2000, 2002 and 2004. For 10 years I was a member of the Swiss National Team and represented Switzerland at multiple European Team Championships and other international events.

In 2004 I decided to turn professional. During 5 years I competed professionally on the Ladies European Tour, earning my money playing golf – a dream came true. Being a professional golfer has given me the opportunity to explore all parts of the world. This has opened up my eyes and offered me the chance to meet fantastic people and inspiring cultures. I am very thankful for all the great experiences and the many new friends I have made.

After 5 years on the road as a playing professional I decided to change “the sides” and become a Golf coach. Today I enjoy teaching and coaching. I work for Swiss Golf as an Elite Coach in my region and internatioanlly with the U18 Girls. At the same time I am active for J+S (Youth and Sport) in Switzerland in the educational department. Last but not least I enjoy teaching at the wonderful golfing facility in Zurich, Golf Club Breitenloo.

During the winter months I still work as a ski- and snowboard instructor for the Wyss Snowsports in the Engadine, Switzerland. I love sports in general. Although I happen to play golf, I still have a passion for many other sports as well. Skiing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking; the list goes on! It is fantastic to see how sports unite people, and that is what I really love. You learn all about teamwork, partnership, leadership, decision-making and fair play!
